Will's First Field Trip

Will's class got to take a field trip to see Sesame Street Live - When Elmo Grows Up at the University of Central Florida. Mommy got to go and chaperone. It was great for her to get to meet some of Will's new buddies and some of the other mommys. We don't know if Will was more excited to ride a bus, see the show, that his mommy got to come along or that he got to go where his daddy works. Needless to say, he had a great time!! Kindergarteners are so cute, but one day about wiped mommy out. We thought Landon wore us out, but eighteen 5-year olders will REALLY wear you out. Mommy loved every bit of it and will do it again:) Landon got to stay home with a new babysitter, which worked out great. Now that we have someone to watch the boys, mommy and daddy might be able to go on a "date" sometime.

Caught In Action

When landon wants something he knows how to get it (climb). Tonight mommy walked around the corner for two seconds and when she came back this is what she found. Landon in the sink getting into Will's tooth brush and tooth paste. The smile on his face is "I know I'm not suppose to be doing this, but I'm doing it any way". Gotta love this kid.

Open House at Will's School

Tonight mommy and daddy got to go to Will's school for Open House. It was great to see what Will does everyday and see some of the other parents. The boys stayed home with the babysitter, which worked out well. The boys had a great time and mommy and daddy enjoyed the hour of alone time.

The Taylors come to town

Some really good friends of ours from Hendersonville (Carl, Heather and Bryce Taylor) came to town last week. On Saturday we met them at Disney World's Magic Kingdom. Bryce is a year younger than Will and they always have so much fun together. The boys were so excited to see each other and they had a blast at Disney World.

Will and Landon are both soaked in this picure and if you keep reading you will find out why.In the back of Will and Bryce is the castle. Every few minutes the castle would change to a different color. The boys laughed and laughed. They thought that was the funniest thing.

Boy's Will Be Boy's.....

At Disney World's Magic Kingdom they have this Winnie The Pooh play area. The boys had a blast, especially after they discovered these holes in the ground and every couple minutes the water would shoot up and get them wet. At first it was just enough to cool them off, but they had so much fun and kept doing it over and over to where they were soaked by the end. Will and Landon thought it was so funny to get all their clothes wet. Mommy and daddy had a lot of fun watching there wild boys. The only bad thing was that we didn't have a change of socks and shoes for either boys. Landon did have another change of clothes and Will said he liked being wet, which I'm sure it felt good as it was really, really, really HOT that day. Next time we go, I guess we need to make sure and pack the boys crocs.

Will is getting soaked at this point and Landon is waiting on the water to shoot up out of the hole.
Here is the after picture. They were completely soaked, but happy boys!!

Our Little Soccer Player

Will had his first night of soccer here in Florida. He has been looking forward to playing soccer again since his season ended in Asheville in May. He is playing with East Orange Soccer Club who just happen to have the same colors and mascot (The Knights) as daddy's work. Will thinks that is pretty cool!! Practice is every Friday night from 6:00pm until 7:00pm through November 14th. If anyone is in the area (Ha!Ha!) it is so cute to watch.

The players have to wear pennies so they know which group they are in. Will happened to be green, which is his favorite color.

Apples

One of the things we really miss about North Carolina are the apples this time of year. Apples at the grocery store do not even compare.

Dottie's mom sent us a box of apples this week from Hendersonville. The boys were so excited!! They normally eat one or two apples a day so this box will not last long. Every time Will wants an apple, he says "Can I have one of Nana's apples?". (Nana is what the boys call Dottie's mom.) So, even Will knows that these are special apples.

As soon as the boys opened the box, Landon bit into at least 5 apples before we could even wash one for him. Will on the other hand took his time to find the perfect one.

The boys are so happy!! Landon is a little blurry in this picture because he was actually jumping up and down he was so excited.

Thanks Nana for the apples!!!

Typhoon Lagoon

Labor Day this year was the first time in seven years that Chad has been home and not at work. Ya!!!! So this year as a family we decided to go to Typhoon Lagoon, which is a water park at Disney World. The boys had a blast!! We were so proud of Will because he went down a small tube ride by himself. Landon just loved being in the water and all he said most the time we were there was water, water, water and of course with a big smile on his face.

Disney World

We finally got our annual passes to Disney World and so over the weekend we went to Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios. The boys did amazing and had a blast. Will didn't like the live characters at first, but by the time we made it to Hollywood Studios he was doing a little better. Landon on the other hand was waving and saying hi to everyone he saw. Disney World is definitely a MAGICAL place because to see the joy in the boys eyes is something that mommy and daddy will cherish forever.

This is just the beginning of Disney World for our family as we still didn't see everything we wanted in the two parks we went to, not to mention we haven't been to the other parks.

Here is mommy with her two boys as we wait to get on a train that goes around the park so Will could decide what he wanted to do first. Landon is looking at the train in this picture and he thought it was Thomas the Train, who he loves. We of course didn't tell him otherwise.

This is as close to the castle that Will would get because he wants to wait and see it with his cousin Sarah. Daddy, Will and Landon with Buzz Light Year and Woody (from the movie Toy Story). Will is really into these characters right now. He wouldn't have his picture taken with them at Magic Kingdom, but when we went to Hollywood Studios he said that he wanted to get his picture with Buzz. We waited in line for about 20 minutes and then he started getting nervous, so after we had waited in line that long, daddy picked both the boys up and we got the picture. Ya!!!
