After lunch on Christmas day, we loaded up the car and off to Hendersonville, North Carolina we went. After 9 hours and only 2 stops we finally made it to Nana and Pop's house (Dottie's Parents). We spent the first part of the week with Dottie's family and then we moved over to visit with Chad's family for the rest of the week. We were even able to catch up with a few friends, which was fun. For those of you who we didn't get to see, SORRY. Hopefully the next visit won't be quite as busy so we will have a little more time.
The boys had so much fun playing with their cousins.
Landon, Brian, Will and Sarah (Brian and Sarah are Julie's two kids)
Katie, Landon, Will and Abram (Katie and Abram are Mandi's two kids)
After a great week we loaded up the car, which required us to purchase a top carrier so we could get it all home. The ride back to Florida was dreadful. The boys, especially Landon, did not want to be in the car. After 12 hours and about 10 stops we finally made it home.
The cool mountain weather in North Carolina was nice for a few days, but it was really nice to get back to the 80 degree weather in Florida - flip flops and no jackets.
We've slowly started getting back into our routine this week. Chad went back to work on Monday. Will went back to school. Landon went to Gymboree today, which mommy was so looking forward to. Dottie replenished the cabinets and refrigerator with food and is still trying to unpack. Our house seriously looks like Toy's "R" Us now.

We loved seeing the boys at Christmas. Will demonsted his skiing ability and was very patient with all of my questions. They are both doing so well.
I wanted Will to be able to see the Curious George exhibit at the Health Adventure since that was the book we enjoyed so much together and he was CG at school for Halloween. We borrowed a stroller, got on the bus heading away from downtown so we could take the "scenic route". The boys sat down while I tried to balance on the bouncy bus and feed the money in the little box. I finally fell into a seat opposite the isle from the boys. It was a wild ride. Landon sat on the edge of the seat as if he took the bus every day with a little smile on his face. I guess the Disney tram is excellent training but our ride wasn't as smooth. I yelled hold on and scoot back ever so often. Landon just enjoyed the ride. Will knew we were going the wrong way haven taken the bus to town many times. He didn't miss a thing. There's Daddy's old work! That's where the water park is! We're going to pass your house! We're going to pass where we started! and on we went. Once at the Health Adventure the boys ran from one exhibit to another. I thought after Disney Will would never enjoy a trip there again but they both loved it. After about our third trip around, we ventured into another exhibit with big wooden rooler coaster tracks that the boys rolled golf balls down and around and through tubes. This may have even been better than CG. As we walked home we met a neighbor and her two boys. She invited us in for snack and play time. We played until Daddy and Mark came for us. Will and Landon were both so happy, patient, well behaved, excited and pleasant. We enjoyed each other so very much. Hearing Nini, Nini, Nini all day was music to my ears. Thank you as always for sharing then with me. Being with them was Chritmas for me. It always is unless it is Halloween!
